Between the two of us, we can commit to hosting a workshop experience for your benefit every single Wednesday throughout the Summer months from mid June to mid August.  If you’re up for learning a new wild plant/food/seaweed/fermentation skill or if you just feel curious and up for trying something new, why not come along and check us out! Before the emergence of strong pharma drugs in the mid 1900’s, Herbal Tonics were an essential part of life for everybody who wanted to stay well. If you had a weak chest, you took a lung tonic, family history of heart disease – you took a heart tonic. It made sense and it still does. This workshop focuses on making Olde style Herbal Tonics from red wine and medicinal plants.

Wild Herbal Workshop and the Art of Balm making.

Cost: 25e (includes a 30ml Wildflower Healing Balm to take home). Booking advised. 

This is one of the best months to harvest Wild flowers and herbs and to make them into something wonderful. Balms are solid ointments that have been traditionally used to treat everything from cuts and burns to chronic joint pain. Once you learn the skill of balm making, you can create your very own range of herbal healing care year after year. All skin conditions, skin trauma, fungal/bacterial infections, eczema,  nappy rash, back pain, muscle pain, joint pain and all acute and chronic injuries can benefit from Herbal balm application. Workshop includes plant identification as well as harvesting guidelines and good practice.
