For a long time, I have been waiting to find the right location, to bring people into the heart of the Burren for some pure Nature immersion followed by fascinating demos on The Art of natural medicine making. Allow me to bring the Burren alive for you as we explore the native healing plants tucked away behind the ancient stones. Let me unravel the mystery… of that space that is shared between man and nature, that results in Healing.

Where: Cassidys pub: 11am to 12.30am.

Cost: 15e. Group rates available.

The Burren hedgerows are full of plants and flowers that have been used to make medicine since ancient times. I can walk you down the country lanes and open your senses to the world of plant medicine that mostly goes unnoticed by the untrained eye. Identification, traditional folklore and modern uses will be covered. Please bring along a camera if you would like a photographic record and also some writing material to take notes. Children are welcome to come along for free but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.




Gut Health – on a shoestring!

Learn how a healthy gut is the most important step that you can take to better your health – both physically and emotionally.
Learn how make your own gut remedies from local Wild plants and common kitchen foods.
Learn how to make and use Milk kefir and Kombucha.
Take home Milk kefir culture, Kombucha mother and Herbal digestive tonic.
Take home notes with all information and recipes for future on-going use.

Herb Walk

A Herb walk is the best way of becoming familiar with local wild medicinal plants. Under the expert guidance of an experienced Herbalist, we will take a gentle walk through the magic lands of the Burren, stopping along the way to meet the wild herbs. We will cover old traditional cures and folklore as well as modern medicinal uses.Please bring along a camera if you would like a photographic record and also some writing material to take notes.  Children are welcome to come along for free.
